Biography

Nektarios Aposporis was born in Athens in December 1979. He shares two cultures: his father is Greek and his mother French. His mother tongue is both Greek and French. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts, France and later has participated in numerous collective and individual exhibitions. His works appear in numerous public and private collections in: Greece, Germany, Sweden, France, Switzerland, Lebanon, United States, London, Guadeloupe, Denmark, Martinique, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Municipal Art Gallery of Corinth. He lives and works in Athens and on the island of Aegina. Inspired by the island of Aegina, the artist bases himself on the light, nature and colors of the Greek island. This light is captured on his paintings with a gold leaf background, which in turn creates its own artistic light.
