Biography

The artistic maturity of Mirella Onofri and the Diploma of Fine Arts in Rome, obtained by studying with famous artists like Gentilini, Maccari, Sadun and Castellucci, with art historians such as Professors Rivosecchi, Bologna and Del Guercio, gave her the necessary foundation to enrich then with specialized courses in various ancient and modern techniques. The field studies allow Mirella Onofri, to transfer its experience in the field of decorative painting. She has taught Drawing and Art History in the Italian State Schools. To her credit has numerous solo and group exhibitions of paintings in various Italian cities. Since 1988 collaborates with architects for the interior decoration and in 1999 opened the Study of Art and Decoration “Acanthus” in Rome. His works are in various Italian cities and abroad (Germany, Spain, France, Sweden, USA …).

Inspired by Roman villas and the luminous landscapes of Tuscany, Mirella Onofri renders this composition with textures and tonal transitions reminiscent of fresco. Through her contemporary abstract language, she reinterprets the essence of Mediterranean architecture and timeless Italian elegance. A work that bridges historical memory with a refined modern sensibility.
