Enrico Ingenito was born and raised in the Italian port city of Genoa. His canvases show nature and architecture in which the Mediterranean sunlight seems to emerge from the canvas in an almost magical way. Finally, like a fine morning mist, he applies an extremely thin layer of oil paint to the painting, with which he manages to banish any Nordic harshness from his canvases. His paintings amaze with the special technique that Enrico has developed and fascinate with the themes and colors that seem to come from a photo album from a bygone era.
