Biography

Born to Greek parents in West Berlin, Germany, Antonios studied in Greece, graduating from the Akto School of Fine Arts. He started his career as a graphic designer and became Art Director in several high-profile magazines and publishing houses (Vogue – Lymberi Publishing, Nitro / Downtown – IMAKO). From 1993 to 2015, he worked in various fields, freelanced in illustration, graphic design, painting and education. She specialized in fashion, children's books, cover art and character illustration, mastering techniques in a variety of media. For the last five years, Antonios has been working exclusively as a fine art painter. Antonio's work has been featured in magazines (Vogue, Status, Life & Style, Mirror, Madame Figaro, Playboy, Nitro, Lipstick, Marie Claire, FHM, Free), books (Evgenios Trivizas, Christoph Galfard, Viky Kayia, Christina Politi) , digital compact discs (Heaven Records, FM Records), television (Mega Channel), large-scale banners (National Book Center of Greece) and special presentations (Eugenidou Foundation and Olympic Aviation). As an educator, Antonios has taught courses in color theory, drawing, fashion design and children's book illustration at the College of Athens. Antonios Aspromourgos maintains a studio in Athens and moved to San Diego in 2016 to establish his studio in California.
