Born in Aachen, Steve Busch began his career in the artistic domain by creating bronze sculptures. He began his apprenticeship as a journeyman carpenter, then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht.
His sculptures are bronze castings made in the sand-casting process by the art foundry Kayser in Düsseldorf.
Since 2017, he has been a member of Atelierhaus Aachen e.V., and won the competition for the 50year Anniversary of the Hotel Management School in Maastricht. He has also participated in many solo and group exhibitions around Europe.
He works a lot with opposing surfaces of bronze that correspond with each other, attract, repel or merge with each other. As he states: ‘Always new, always different’.
